DVD home theatre system

Bought this in 2008 & still going although remote is a bit moody & discs have started to stick although blew the airline through the tray & seems sorted. Fantastic volume, never gone over 13 & surround sound is fab for such a dated unit up to more expensive kits I see.

WE BOUGHT THIS SYSTEM IN 2008 AND IT IS STILL GOING STRONG-ONLY NEGATIVE ISSUE IS: VERY HARD TO GET REPLACEMENT REMOTE CONTROL.

Hi i have had this system for a while now and i would recommend it great surround sound in the whole room especially for Motorsport and many films, its like being in a theatre, we have a 37" TV and it works perfick with great sound for our music stations

I bought this home theatre product a number of years ago, before I had a big HD LED TV. It worked great then with excellent surround sound and picture quality. I was worried when I upgraded to a large LED TV that the picture quality would not be good enough on the large screen from this player but was pleasantly surprised when the picture turned out to be really good! I think the DVD player upscales a bit as definition is very good, even though it's not HD. When I decide to upgrade to blu ray or a HD player I will certainly consider Philips - this player is the last purchase I have made from a long line of philips products bought by me - reliability and performance seem to be present in all Philips products.

I have connected this unit to my TV, Sky+ and PS3. The sound is excellent, the speakers are good quality. With a digital input I have only ever taken the volume up to 15, this was plenty loud enough! Good system, good price.

Goed product die doet wat ik van het produkt verwacht had en zelf meer opties heeft die goed van pas komen.

Obwohl ich leider die räumliche Anordnung nicht mehr optimal ausnutzen kann ist der Klang und das räumliche Hören immer noch sehr gut.
