L'Or Barista L'OR BaristaCapsule coffee machine

We are more than happy with this machine - it makes really good coffee quickly and remarkably quietly. The ability to make two individual cups at once using the XXL capsules is an added bonus.

It’s a great coffee maker far better than the one I’ve had before costing a lot more. It fast to heat up and after it’s finished it turns off so it’s not on standby forever

Purchased as a back up to a bean to cup machine and I have been surprised at the quality of the coffee produced. I am a black coffee drinker not interested in milk drinks or syrup flavoured drinks. Great machine that can produce good coffee from a variety of sources. Large choice of flavours and strengths. The L'OR pods have been good as have the others I have tried from Jacobs, Douwe Egberts and Lavazza. The ability to pour a ristretto, espresso or lungo at the press of a button is good. You need to make sure you pour the size of drink indicated on the box of pods. If you want to make it longer add hot water from a kettle. If you try and turn a ristretto or espresso into a longer drink by pressing the lungo button if will over extract the coffee and ruin the flavour. Only use the lungo button for boxes that specify the pods are for a lungo sized drink. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a decent coffee without too much fuss or time preparing it. I have serviced and refurbished my bean to cup now but will continue using this machine along side it.

I could never believe that tiny pods of coffee could produce a decent, full sized, delicious cup of coffee. It is actually the nicest way of making coffee as it is clean, fast, efficient and gorgeous

I absolutely love waking up to the smell of fresh coffee. This machine is up there with the best at a fraction of the price

This machine is really easy to set up, very easy to use the cleaning feature. I like the fact that you dispose of the pods inside of the machine by opening the top. It is also compatible with other coffee pods so you don’t have to stick to the one brand. It is really easy to use you just put the pod in and press a button and can make different sizes of coffee which is good if you fancy a shorter or longer drink. It is really good value for money. I would definatly recommend this coffee machine to coffee lovers as you can make a variety of different coffees and it is a good morning boost.

My dualit coffee machine packed in after almost three years. I wanted a capsule only replacement as l no longer use filtered coffee. I found the LOR machine made by Philips and what a little beauty. Slimline, elegant and full of features. It has a smaller water tank than my Dualit but is sufficient for a full day. The top loader opens really and will take either standard size capsules or LORs own larger capsules. It is happy using branded coffee plus such as costa or Aldi's own brand Ristereto which actually gets a very good review despite being the cheapest. There is only three buttons at the back on top of the machine making it really ready to use. It even empties the old capsules into a bin.

Happy that I made the choice to purchase this machine. Was easy to assemble from the box and instructions were simple to follow. Looks pretty sitting on my kitchen bench. Once I read what each bit was for it was quick to work out where the pods went and how to fill the water tank. The coffee pod selection was fantastic and each cup tasted amazing. Really good coffee. To remove the used pod was simple and I was able to recycle the coffee grounds from the pod. Cleaning of the machine is easy. Overall a very good coffee machine that I have used multiple times per day since I purchased it. Shopping for pods is great as most major supermarkets stock them and at a reasonable price. Overall very satisfied with my machine

Recieved parcel, box looked impressive showing what to expect inside Inside was as shown on box a twin colour coffee dispenser black and white looking very impressive Nice slimline unit, fits nicely on worktop in kitchen Located the instruction and found them to be in very easy to follow picture format as seems to be the normal these days Filled tank and proceeded to flush the system through as instructions, did the same with all 3 buttons Next inserted coffee pod and made a lovely cup of Lungo

Decided in this machine after my krups gave up the ghost! So glad I did... A bit bigger than my previous nespresso but not a major issue! Great coffee as always and particularly like the xl pods for a larger dose of coffee.... Highly recommended
