This is my second Philips iron and i love it I still have my old one that I keep and I have to say is very solid and heavier. My new one is lighter but still does an amazing job, the downside is it is very creaky when I am ironing and it’s a bit annoying. Apart from that, yes I recommend it.

I’m not sure I can fault this product! I received the Philips PerfectCare 7000 iron a few weeks ago and have been waiting to test it out properly before reviewing it. This iron is overall really great. It heats up quickly and also has a safety lock on it which is great if you have children around you. The iron never gets too hot and reduces the likelihood of burning through fabric as it uses OptimalTEMP technology. It’s great for delicate fabrics and also thick fabrics like denim, the steam really helps for creases in those cases. I have also used the steam setting to remove creases on my curtains and for vertical ironing, the cord is really long and the iron is lightweight which really eases this kind of ironing. The water tank is also quite big, which means you don’t have to go back and forth a dozen of times to refill it whilst ironing and steaming fabrics. The iron could get a bit heavy if you are transporting it around with a full tank, however I believe that would be expected, and I don’t transport my iron to different places everyday, it is a home iron. Overall, I am very pleased with this product, I can use it pretty much “care free” as I know it won’t burn any of my fabrics no matter how I’m using it, it shuts off after a while if unattended and has a safety carry lock. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend this iron!

The Philips PerfectCare 7000 has been a real eye-opener for me. I was given this item to do & honest review (thank you Philips). The steam generator is very powerful & gives a professional & crisp finish to your ironing. It's ergonomic design is both light & eligant making ironing 'almost' a pleasure. The instruction manual is easy to understand & i was ironing in next to no time. A BIG thumbs up from me. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of buying one of these, you won't regret it.

The Philips Perfectcare7000 is a joy to use, coming from a 'normal' steam iron to this beast was like chalk & cheese, so much easier to use & leaving your ironing with a professional finish. Straight out of the box the instruction manual was clear & easy to understand making the Philips Perfectcare7000 a breeze to set up. The steam it generates is truly amazing & due to the iron be so light & ergonomic it 'almost' makes ironing a joy. Don't hesitate to purchase one of these if your thinking about buying - you wont regret it.

As someone who gets through alot of ironing I have loved having my new iron! It has made the job so much easier. I really like the fact you don't have to keep stopping to faff around with different temperatures (the iron automatically changes temps for different fabrics). It also has a completely detachable water tank which is easy for filling and emptying. I found the iron was light and really comfortable to use (made ironing all the back to school uniforms a breeze).

I have been using Philips traditional iron for years (really pleased with it) and when I saw the first steam generator I was really curious about it. I have to admit I’m impressed with it. It arrived well packed. Whole unit looks sleek and design is to my liking. The iron and steam tank are well made and seem durable. It’s really easy to use. You just fill in detachable water tank with a tap water (really generous size of 1,8l), press the power button and wait max 2 minutes, no need to adjust the temperature which is the bonus (I find it annoying to change it constantly with regular irons). I was able to iron more delicate clothes without worrying about the temperature change. The iron is attached to the steam tank by a thick hose and is surprisingly light compared to my previous iron. I find locking mechanism really useful, especially when you have children running around. The iron does not move when on the base and that it switches off when not in use. According to manufacturer it won’t burn the clothes even when left on, but understandably I have not tested this feature  The steam pressure is powerful which makes ironing much easier. The steam penetrates all layers, so in most cases you don’t even need to turn the fabric on the other side to make it perfectly smooth. I was well impressed when ironing my bedding and curtains – top notch. The huge advantage is the fact that I can now iron my clothes much quicker and it saves me a lot of time which is priceless for busy mums! Another bonus feature is Easy De-Calc system, which is great as I live in a hard water area. Although one thing to remember – make sure the valve is fully closed up as the water might leak during ironing. Even though my children are already in school age, I believe that it is an ideal solution for disinfecting babies’ clothes as well. All in all, this is a great value iron, which offers superior performance to others I've used.

This iron is amazing, delivery was really quick. The iron is very easy to set up & use wonderful feature that you don't have any settings you just iron anything from delicate nylon straight to denim jeans. It is really easy to descale as well & a real bonus is that the cord stores around the bottom of the iron. Automatic steam sensor and light weight makes ironing so much easier ! It's not as loud as my previous ones too ! I choose this particular one as the cord can twist as they tend to be slightly thicker than your standard steam iron so when the cord does twist it can make it harder to iron and can split, I have had 3 previous steam generator irons. You don't need to worry about this as their is a specific area to wrap the cord when storing. I would highly recommend, really pleased as I really dislike ironing & am really pleased to have 1 that makes it easier & quicker.

I had the pleasure to test the Philips PerfectCare 7000 steam generator it is a device that every mother should have at home since I use the Philips PerfectCare 7000 I gained more free time because I no longer have to sort clothes according to the ironing temperature, the steamer has an intelligent system thanks to which it sets the steam temperature with which it works thanks to Why can I iron my jeans and not wait for the temperature to change with a silk blouse.ironing curtains has never been so easy because the Philips PerfectCare 7000 series can be used in a vertical position. Therefore, when you iron curtains, you can work with patches or buttons and the Philips Carta coating will not scratch or stick. Thanks to the intelligent system, the steamers can be put anywhere on the ironing board or directly on the ironed material. This will not cause any damage. in addition, the Philips PerfectCare 7000 has a very nice design, the only small downside is the compartment for storing the steam cord, it is quite tight and the cord is hard to put in when it cools down, you have to do it when it is still warm. I am very happy that I was able to test this Philips PerfectCare 7000 steamer and thanks to it I liked ironing
