PerfectCare 8000 SeriesSteam Generator

Purchased to replace a tefal iron that was horrendous. Read loads of reviews having being bitten once and what a great iron this is. I was out of stock everywhere for ages, but glad we waited until it was back in stock. Yes there's a small amount of water at the start - but the instructions are clear to "boost" it on first use and that clears any residual water before ironing

One of the best purchases I've made! The steam generator is absolutely brilliant and halves my ironing time. I've got an average of 15 shirts to iron each week and I definitely regret not buying one sooner. It does a great job on creases and cotton shirts have lots of these. It's reduced my ironing time a lot. The iron is so light and the steam output it's just brilliant. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Everything you want or need in this equipment is on offer. Super fast results. Plenty of heat and yet safe for all fabrics. It’s a great piece of kit and well worth the money.

Absolutely brilliant. Easy to use, makes it so much easier to iron. The only thing I don’t like is when filling the water chamber, & clicking it back into place.

This iron, is fantastic. I have a whole host of health conditions, and find ironing very stressful, but with this iron, it is not stressful.

It seems that in our house there is a constant pile of ironing to be done and it always takes far too long but the Perfectcare steam generator has completely changed this. Initially it did take me a few minutes to familiarise myself with how this iron worked but as soon as I got the knack of it (and fully read the instructions) it was such an easy and quick process to blast through the ironing pile. My sheets were completed so quickly and they were so smooth. We all know sheets are a nightmare to iron but with the Steamcare it was almost a walk in the park. The iron itself is quite lightweight and glides over whatever it is ironing and even better there’s only one setting so it was great not to constantly be changing a settings dial. It does heat to a very high temperature and as a result the clothes were ultra smooth. I did burn my hand but that was because I was silly and put my finger in front of where the steam comes out. Overall this is a fantastic addition to a large family home with lots of ironing on the go. I would thoroughly recommend.

For the first time in my life I've actually enjoyed doing the ironing! Instructions easy to follow, the iron it self is light Weight but incredibly good! My only Con is the base unit is quite big compared to a standard iron (which is all I had used before) which ment I couldn't store where my old iron was.... but if me having to make space is the only issue it would be fair to mark this great product down for that

Let’s start by the looks of this thing. Truly stunning and sleek for an iron. When first taking it out of the box I was surprised how big it actually was, however it still fits nicely on the ironing board. Having never used a steam iron before it was nice to have a light iron opposed to an all in one unit with the water inside. It was very easy to setup and start to use. The steam is great and really help to remove the creases very quickly. My first pile of washing was a load of shirts and it didn’t take long to whizz through them. I don’t think I could go back to a convention iron after using it makes such a big difference to the speed and quality of the ironing.
