Yes. Descaling is an important part of the maintenance of your appliance. You should descale your appliance at least:
- Every two months if you use soft or filtered water (up to 18 dH)
- Every month if you use hard water (over 18 dH)
You can contact your water board for more information about your tap water. If your appliance starts producing more steam, it can be an indication of scale building up in your appliance.
To descale your appliance, you can use any liquid descaling agent or white vinegar. Do not use cleaning vinegar. We advise you not to use powder descalers or tablets. If these agents are not dissolved completely, they can leave traces and damage the appliance.
