Azur EliteSteam Iron with OptimalTEMP technology

This iron is truly great! Really easy to just iron everything without worrying about changing temperatures Has a long lead which makes it easy to use anywhere

I love that I don’t need to select different temperatures any more. Also it is quite heavy and makes it easier to smooth out creases

I bought this for military training. Before I bought Azur Elite, I bought Azur GC4567/86. Used a wrinkled shirt for tried that 2 irons, the shirt's material and the cutting it needs a lot of patient on ironing time. Azur GC4567/86 it is good for most of the normal clothing however, on the wrinkled shirt some wrinkle it's still left. Azur Elite it works very well on that shirt and saved half of the iron time for me. Then I returned the Azur GC4567/86 and chosen Azur Elite with my future military training.

Best iron on the market. Absolutly amazing, quick, nice looking item... nothing more to add.

I was very interested in trying new technology with no temperature dial. I think Philips has nailed it ! However, like all new technologies, I had to call technical support as the iron will not start heating. We had to reboot (not written in the instructions) the iron and have enjoyed ironing ever since.

First impression: This should be good as it’s looking sturdy and heavy! .. and I was not wrong! The manual is easy to understand. Instruction is well illustrated especially for first time steam iron users. The cord is well-built and 3 metres long which is really a plus. it’s also easy to put the water in and empty it after. Although it’s heavy, it glides smoothly. It removes creases with just one go and I think the weight of the iron helps a lot too as you don’t have to spend energy to push and press the iron against the garment so much to remove the crease. I am really amazed that you don’t need to change the setting everytime according to the material of your clothes so you can just grab anything in the basket and iron it straight away. No more sorting or changing setting everytime. Very smart indeed! I used to hate ironing so much because of the time and effort spent on it but now I can totally see the difference. I thought our first steam iron was good enough until I got this Philip Azur Elite.

I love this iron it’s so easy to use and set up and it has the options to change the steam settings which is brillaint I can’t fault this iron at all it makes my ironing easier

I was a bit dubious at first because it seemed a bit heavy but it is an amazing iron. Because you don't have to keep lifting it to stand it up between garments the weight is not a problem. As for performance it cuts through creases like a hot knife through butter. The ironing which usually takes an hour or two was done in half an hour and I was actually disappointed I didn't have more to do. The fact you don't have to change temp for different materials is amazing. I told my friends about how good the iron was and they have all insisted on trying it and they love it. This is the best iron I have ever used and I highly recommend it.

Switch it on and iron,it automatically starts when your iron is moving and stops when you stop, no fiddling about with settings and checking labels. I was sceptical about switching between fabrics worrying about burning the more delicate ones but no problems what so ever, the OptimalTEMP technology does not let you down. The powerful steam output does remove the most stubborn of creases and has reduced our ironing time considerably. really appreciate the quick calc release which has helped keep the iron soleplate free from stains. Overall fast smooth and very smart
