Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use baking paper/tin foil in my Philips Airfryer?
Yes, you can use baking paper or aluminium foil in your Philips Airfryer. But you should never cover the basket bottom completely. Read on and find out why.
To cook the food well, air needs to flow through the basket. If you cover the bottom of the basket, this reduces the air flow, which diminishes the cooking performance of your Airfryer.
Some points to consider:
When using baking paper, make sure that it never sticks out beyond the basket edge
Do not put baking paper or aluminium foil in the bottom of the pan where the grease and dirt is collected. If you cover this area, the air flow will be disrupted and you will not get a good cooking result.
Never put baking paper or aluminium foil in the Airfryer without placing food on it - the baking paper/aluminium foil would be sucked to the heater and could start to burn
