Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the butter and the chocolate together in a pan on low heat. Remove the mixture as soon as it has melted. Pour it into a bowl.
Using the mixer, first whisk through the eggs until you have a creamy, frothy mixture. Add the sieved flour and mix this in together with the pecans. Transfer the mixture to an oven dish and cook the brownies in 30 minutes until the surface is nice and dry to touch, but the inside is still sticky. Cut into small squares. You can always have more than one!
