Having used a foil shaver for many years I wanted to try a rotary, at the great price offered I couldn’t say no, and I don’t regret it one bit having now been fully converted to my prestige ultra best save ever and so easy to maintain, no shaving rash any more! Great service off Phillips too

The Philips XP9405 is a fantastic product that gives you one of the closest shaves I have ever had from a had held electric razor. It’s looks good is easy to use and has it own app which you can use to see how your shaving skills are. It s a lightweight easy to use shaver and easy to charge on it’s own desk charging unit. The unit comes with its own app which will tell you all types of things like when to clean and are you using the correct pressure on your face that will give you a good shave This shaver is the best of the best it’s not the cheapest on the street but if your look for an electric razor that gives you a shave as good as any wet razor, then this is the one for you.

I've always used Philips razors and this is the best one yet, feels good in your hand ,not to heavy and easy to use. Would highly recommend this shaver to others.

I purchased the i9000 Prestige Ultra XP9402/31 Wet and Dry Electric Shaver after receiving a promotional email from Philips. The shaver is comfortable to hold and gives a very close shave. It has lots of great features, including a light that changes colour, which together with the app lets you know how well you are using the shaver. The cleaning pod is very easy to use and I can also use the existing Jet Clean Solution I have from my previous Philips shaver. When I registered the shaver, it activated a 7 year warranty. It is suggested that the heads are changed every 2 years. I am very happy with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend especially when on promotion.

What can I say about my Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver. Over my many years and many electric and wet shavers I have at long last found my perfect shaver in the Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra. It comes with a seven year guarantee which on its own is brilliant. The shave I can honestly say is the closest shave from an electric rechargeable that I have ever had. It is every bit as good a shave as any wet razor. The cleaning is as easy as opening the shaver head and cleaning under a running tap, shake off the head to remove most of the water, job done. Every now and again I just place the shaver on its cleaning pod, press the start button on the shaver and leave it for a short while to give it a proper clean. The shaver isn't the cheapest around but it by far the best around.

Amazing upgrade from my previous philips electric shaver. Feels premium and really comfortable to hold. The lack of the integrated pop out trimmer is no problem at all. The supplied trimmer accessory is more than sufficient, however i personally use a philips grooming kit. Battery life is good, and although maybe not a useful there are a numbers of shaver settings, I normally just use the custom setting set to the maximum speed. I don't use the led guidance app, for monitoring how well I shave. I think this is not really required and I have turned this off to extend the battery life. The cleaning station is really useful not only for cleaning, but storage within the bathroom. Cleaning is simple, a quick wash under the warm tap, then every so often a cycle clean in the station. Only negative I can think of is the zip on the premium travel case, is not premium. It's quite difficult to open and close and I really think it will fail in time. I did try the 9000i prestige before this and returned it for the ultra. The ultra is definitely worth the extra money
