New to the Airfryer
I gave 5 stars because the Airfryer had delivered what was promised. I was a slow starter to this fryer, having never used one before. But my daughter and friends who knew and came to visit showed how straightforward and easy it was to get good results. Now I am also making sometimes daily use of my Airfryer. If you haven't yet experienced the Airfryer, hurry, you're missing out.
Pros
Easy to use, Healthier because the food you cook is not immersed in deep fat cooking oil, many more choices being discovered daily and more for the adventurous.
Cons
You have to be willing to invest the time to get the best from this kitchen tool - there is a lot waiting to be discovered

An upgrade from an earlier model
We had an older and smaller Philips air fryer that has given us very good and reliable service for years, but we wanted something a bit bigger, so we had more choice in what we could use it for. Although it has a bigger capacity, the unit is not that much larger, so still fits in the cupboard. In operation, it is much quieter, it was very easy to set up, and there are some useful presets. We have also bought an 8-inch silicon liner which makes it much easier to clean. We decided to go for a bigger capacity air fryer, rather than 1 with 2 drawers as we thought it gives us more scope for cooking things like whole chickens and it will fit an 8-inch cake tin. Although we have only used it a few times so far, we are very pleased with it.
Pros
SIze, very quiet, easy to clean
Cons
no retractable cable, had it on our old philips
