How to descale my SENSEO® Latte Select

1. Pour half a bottle of liquid descaler into the empty water tank
2. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum indication
3. Place the water tank back onto your SENSEO® Latte Select
4. Open the lever to remove the milk container
5. Insert the Calc-Clean tool into the coffee spout and close the lever until you hear a click

1. Turn on your SENSEO® Latte Select and wait until the power light stops flashing
2. Place the 1-cup pod holder with a used coffee pod inside it into the coffee machine. Close the lid and make sure it is properly locked
3. Place an empty bowl with a capacity of at least 1.5 litres under the coffee spout
4. Press the Calc-Clean button to start the descaling cycle
5. All indicator lights on the control panel will light up sequentially to indicate that the descaling has started
6. The descaling solution will come out in intervals
7. The Calc-Clean indicator light will illuminate when the descaling cycle has finished
8. Empty the bowl

The descaling cycle is now finished, continue with the rinsing cycles.

1. Rinse the water tank under the tap
2. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum indication
3. Place an empty bowl with a capacity of at least 1.5 litre under the coffee spout
4. Press the Calc-Clean button to start rinsing
5. Water will come out in intervals
6. The Calc-Clean indicator light will illuminate when the rinsing cycle has finished
7. Empty the bowl

1. Remove the used coffee pod. Make sure to properly close the lid
2. Rinse the water tank under the tap
3. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the maximum indication
4. Place an empty bowl with a capacity of at least 1.5 litres under the coffee spout
5. Press the Calc-Clean button to start the final rinsing cycle
6. Water will come out in intervals
7. The SENSEO® Latte Select will turn off automatically when the water tank is empty

Finally, remove the Calc-Clean tool from the spout in order to use your SENSEO® Latte Select. You will not be able to make coffee with the Calc-Clean tool still in place.
