Too much foam comes out of the appliance

  1. The tap was not completely open while the beer was being tapped. Always make sure the beer tap is completely open when you are pouring a beer and that you pour the beer as described in the instruction manual.

  2. The first glass of tapped beer contains too much foam. It is possible that the first glass tapped from a new keg contains more foam than usual. Try pouring a second glass.

  3. The keg has been shaken too much. Wait half an hour for the beer to settle.

  4. The tube may not function properly. Always use the new tube with each keg when you install a new keg. You can contact the PerfectDraft call centre to request a new tube. See below for the telephone numbers in your country.

  5. The beer is too warm. Wait until the beer is cold enough to be poured, that is when the temperature on the display is green.
