These factors include the temperature of the room as well as the freshness, size and temperature of the eggs. Below are some helpful tips to guide you in determining the appropriate amount of water to use.
     

    How to cook soft-boiled eggs

    To cook soft-boiled eggs, decrease the amount of water by 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of the recommended dosage.
     

    How to cook hard-boiled eggs

    To cook hard-boiled eggs with their shell still intact, increase the amount of water by 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of the recommended dosage.
