How do I set up my Next-Generation DiamondClean 8000 - 9900 for the first time and choose my language?
The display on your Philips Sonicare toothbrush wakes up (with enough battery) when you first pick it up. The first screen you will see displays the language options, with English selected by default. You can swipe left or right to browse through other language choices.
Note: You may need to press the On/Pause or Select Button to wake up the toothbrush.
Note: We recommend that you fully charge your device before starting to use it. If your toothbrush's battery is completely empty (at 0%), it will show a "battery empty" screen and turn off (refer to Battery Status). Pressing the On/Pause or Select button to wake up the toothbrush will produce two sets of five beeps. You won't be able to proceed with the first-time setup; you will only see the empty battery screen before the device powers off again.
