How do I change the modes on my Next-Generation Sonicare DiamondClean 8000-9900?

Your Sonicare toothbrush has up to eight brushing modes, depending on your model. After you wake it up, your Sonicare toothbrush will default to the Modes screen. To manually select your desired mode, follow the steps below:

From the Main Menu, swipe left or right to go to the Mode screen.

On the Mode screen, press the Confirm Button to access the Selection Menu of modes.

A tick in the top right-hand corner of the screen indicates the currently selected mode.

Note: Available modes may vary by toothbrush model.

Swipe to browse available modes. All Sonicare brush heads work with each mode.

Press the Confirm Button to select a mode. A tick confirms your choice and returns you to the Main Menu.

The selected mode appears on the Mode screen.

To exit without changing modes, select Exit in the Selection Menu.

Note: Always use original Sonicare brush heads with BrushSync technology as they are designed to work with every mode in a Sonicare toothbrush.
