If you apply too much pressure in any area of your mouth for an extended period (5 consecutive seconds), that segment on the mouth map will be shown in purple. This is a reminder to be gentler when pressing the brush head against your teeth and gums. Pressing too hard reduces efficacy and wears out your brush head faster. The grey area on the Mouth Map represents either optimal or insufficient pressure.
Note: The Post-Brushing Pressure Mouth Map will only appear if you apply too much pressure for an extended time on at least one segment. If no overpressure (for an extended period) occurs, no Post-Brushing Pressure Feedback will be displayed.
Note: You can also view your results in the Sonicare app.
