Azur 8000 SeriesSteam Iron

Genuinely just a brilliant product. I was worried at first about the optimalTEMP feature, but there was nothing at all to worry about - you don’t need to adjust the temperature because it does it for you! It’s more convenient, less stress, easier and less time consuming!

I’m really happy with this iron for the most part. It’s very good for ironing shirts, jeans etc. However because it doesn’t have a temperature gauge I’m abit dubious about using it on more delicate items, it has a optimal temperature function which adjusts to the right temperature for the item but I’m not sure I trust it. It does use water extremely quickly and is quite heavy.

I won’t lie the optimal temp feature got me a bit worried about my clothes at first because there was no settings to change and adjust the temperature so I was a bit scared at first. But there was nothing to be worried about! It is definitely on the heavier side but going from my old iron I had for years to this is night and day. It quite literally just glides over the clothes and it does make the weight less of an issue because you don’t have to push down for it to work and get out the creases. The vertical steam didn’t work so well for me so far but I’m going to keep trying with it though, there wa few tough creases that it didn’t manage to get out. But the cord being long is a massive plus for me, I don’t have to figure out where I can actually iron my clothes because I have to be close to the plug. Overall it’s a massive upgrade from my old one and I’m really grateful I’ve got to try it.

THE BEST iron I have ever used. The iron plate is a good size to cover large areas of fabric but is still light and glides with great ease. It has a great safety feature optimalTEMP that ensures no burns on any ironable fabrics. It’s also got auto shut off if you forget to turn it off. The appliance makes vibrating, buzzing and pumping noises that a normal and not to loud. The iron holds 350ml of water and is suitable for tap water. On a whole this iron had speed my morning rushes with quick and easy creases gone in no time !

Very impressed by this iron. I don't do ironing if I can help it, always having the wrong temperature! However with this you dont it's steam or no steam. There is no temperature control which I found daunting to start with but it really works! I can iron jeans, then a silk blouse with no problem. Once you get used to the weight as it is heavier, it glides over the garments. The handy notch in the handle allows the iron to stand without rocking on the lead. Very well thought up and bring on my next wash!

This iron has completely transformed my iron routine, the design is sleek & ergonomic making it easy to handle, the iron heats up quickly one of the standout features is the powerful steam output which effectively removes stubborn wrinkles without damaging delicate clothing its also easy to maintenance with the easy self cleaning setting the cord length is brilliant i also appreciate the safety feature such as the automatic shut off when left given me peace of mind

Really lovely product! I was dubious receiving this as I was not sure how it was going to turn out and I was pleasantly suprised! It is so easy and simple to use and makes ironing so much quicker and easier to a rather boring task!

One of the best irons I've used! Clothes come out so smooth and void of creases. The iron itself isn't excessively heavy and is very easy to control. The steam helps even out the creases and gives just the right glide. Very easy maintenance too, which is always a huge plus.

I received the Philips Azur 8000 series steam iron for free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. The steam iron feels very sturdy and compact, it is made from high quality materials that is built to last. The plate iron plate has a coating that protects it from scratches and helps the iron to glide smoothly during ironing. I love how quick it is to heat up and that it can be used vertically when clothes are hung up as well as normal ironing. The only downside is that due to the stronger power, the unit is slightly heavier than other steam irons. The steam is very powerful and it has automatic steam releases when the iron detects that it is needed. I live in an area with hard water and the iron has a special inbuilt feature that removes the calcium and mineral build up and prevents iron from clogging up with mineral deposits. Another thing I love is that it does not drip water onto clothing while ironing which I hated when it happened with my old iron. All in all this is a powerful steam iron that gies great results and has lots of safety features, the only downside is that it is slightly heavy when used for longer periods.
