SPD™ innovative bass port technology for deep, rounded tones
Philips Sound Purification Duct (SPD) bass port technology delivers the deep, pure tones of the original bass sound. Using an SPD foam material to process the inner surface of the bass pipe, the special acoustic damping invented by Philips reduces noise turbulence and stabilises the tuning frequency. Philips technical and consumer tests confirm this buffer provides less coloured, purer quality bass.
Well damped driver reduces vibration and sound distortion
A single speaker driver normally incurs a specific frequency division vibration near the edge of the diaphragm, often resulting in some sound distortion. The way to overcome this problem is by using Mylar, a uniform monomer and a much lighter material that is more usually used, around the driver cone. Surrounding the cone in a perfectly symmetrical ring, the resulting damping effect suppresses the asynchronous vibration, resulting in a more balanced and natural sound.
Bass Reflex Speakers deliver deep and powerful bass
A chamber behind the speaker driver channels air to the acoustically tuned vents built into the speaker, giving the bass notes a more punchy, realistic sound.

Es un producto excelente y muy recomendable
Son unos altavoces estupendos, nada más abrir la caja solo tuve que conectarlos al ordenador por lo tanto el montaje no ha sido para nada difícil, tras enchufarlos y ponerlos a prueba con el volumen a tope empezó a retumbar toda la casa. A parte de esto, tiene una calidad de sonido que nunca antes había apreciado en otros altavoces, es un sonido super limpio y no hay ningún tipo de interferencia, además, con el mando a distancia se facilitan bastante el apagado de los altavoces y el regulado del volumen. Por último, el diseño es muy bonito

Pas un monstre de puissance mais fait le boulot ! Bon équilibre basses/aigües, bonnes basses. Un inconvénient cependant: l'entrée auxiliaire se met en veille au bout d'une heure environ et on est obligé d'éteindre et rallumer : malgré un échange standard avec le SAV, même problème...

Rigidez de cable de conexión
Me gusta cómo suenan, con calidad suficiente, pero se me ha roto el cable de conexión al pc, posiblemente por ser demasiado rígido.
