The dust bag compartment of my Philips Vacuum is dirty

    Published on 2021-07-04

It is normal for your Philips vacuum cleaner's dust bag compartment to become slightly dirty. Discover how to keep your vacuum cleaner nice and clean.

When the dust bag is not installed correctly in your Philips Vacuum Cleaner, the dust bag compartment could become very dirty.

Check if the dust bag is installed properly or needs to be replaced (see image below). The cover cannot be closed if no dust bag has been inserted or if the cardboard tag of the dust bag is distorted.

Check if the dust bag is damaged or torn. If it is, dirt will leak into the dust bag compartment.

Please replace a damaged dust bag as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your Philips Vacuum Cleaner.

Suitable dust bag types for all Philips Vacuum Cleaners are s-bag® dust bags.
