My Philips Steam Generator makes a pumping sound and/or a metallic rattling sound

Water is pumped into the boiler inside your Philips Steam Generator, and this process may produce noise. This is normal and will be more frequent when using Speed and Auto mode.
If the pumping sound continues non-stop, switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket. Contact an authorised Philips service centre.
