UPDATE This device is capable to display subtitles and Closed Caption on Netflix movies !!!! VERY NICE MOVE FROM PHILLIPS !!!!!...Only problem still disapointed due to USB reader non able to open video files....any way....good gadget for the price !!! 16 October 2012

It does not play AVI/MP4 files as the user manual said. I did not have time to check about the subtitles because when I realized that the gadget was not capable to play the most frecuent digital video formats I return it. 8 October 2012

New remote control My credit size remote control failed in that the play button would not work. I contacted Philips who sent a replacement and it was a lot bigger and a better design than the one I had. The new remote control works even better now and I find I am watching and using this unit more because of it. Thank you to the staff at Philips who helped me out and nothing was too much trouble for them. 5 stars. 17 September 2012

Great wee gadget. Having bought a similar gadget for Lovefilm o few months ago i was pleased to see similar for Netflix at a reasonable price. It was easy to tune into my bedroom TV using wifi. Downfall is remote....very small and flimsy so will be easily broken/lost. Can't see how to operate gadget without it. 17 September 2012

Great for photos but ........ Is excellent for getting photos onto the TV using a USB stick. You need an adaptor, not supplied, if you want to view them from a memory card. I was disappointed that it would not give me Love Film and was restricted to Netflix only as it can connect to the Internet. Also disappointed I could not connect it to my home network. This makes the product, while excellent quality, very expensive for what it is. 5 September 2012

great design and shape nice little box which i purchased to watch netflix on my big tv does everything it says great picture even in HD. only down fall i can see is if you lose the small remote then its makes it completly useless but apart from that excellent for the price. 8 March 2012

A viable alternative to smart tv boxes like Apple TV and Roku Nice gadget, brilliant HD quality on Netflix. I would like to see more applications and possibilities for this delightfully pleasing and reasonablly priced smart box. If Philips could offer a web browser or BBC iplayer this would make the model even more attractive. 25 February 2012
