My Philips Tower Fan suddenly turns off

    Published on 27 April 2025

If your Philips Fan shuts down suddenly, discover possible causes and solutions in the article below.

The fan is set to shut down

The information below does not apply to models ACP610 and ACP62x.

Your Philips Fan features a timer to pre-set it to shut down. It might have been set and caused the fan to turn off. Please check the timer settings on your appliance.

    The plug falls out

When the plug falls out or is not well connected to the socket, the appliance will turn off unexpectedly. Please make sure that the plug is firmly inserted into the socket. If the socket feels loose, please use another one to avoid the plug falling out.

The fan is on for 15 hours (CX5535 only)

The information below only applies to model CX5535.

Your Philips Fan has been designed to turn off automatically after running continuously for 15 hours. This energy-saving feature ensures that your appliance will turn off on its own if you forget it.

If the solutions above do not help, contact us for further assistance.
