This is a great coffee machine, it's so easy to use and makes the coffee just how I like it everytime as it stores your preference so with just of a touch of a button my coffee is ready

It makes good coffee and I love coffee. Good for the morning good for the evening

After trying a different brand and returning that due to a fault and deciding not to try another due to the quality not seeming that great, we continued our search for a bean to cup machine under £500. We wanted to swap from capsules to stop the amount of unnecessary waste. We first came across the 4200 but opted to pay abit more over budget to get the 4300. We love the screen and easy touch buttons. Set up was so easy and we were getting drinkable coffees from the third cup. This mornings coffee (I think 8th cup from machine) was no different to what comes from our nespresso (Same brand coffee used). We haven’t adjusted the grind settings as manual recommends you do not touch that until it’s made at least 500 coffees, and I think I can now see why. Coffee is actually quite hot without adjusting the temperature, but you can go hotter. As you can see it’s obviously quite a bit bigger than a capsule coffee machine and it is abit louder in use (which you expect as it’s grinding coffee). It’s no louder than the previous machine we tried. The milk carafe is brilliant and well made. My only concern (if I had to find one) would be the little clip that releases the two parts could snap if someone is abit too heavy handed with it or if it was dropped. The machine is mostly plastic, but looks stylish, and looks well made. I hope we get many many years from this machine like we have with our nespresso. So far we are extremely please and would recommend any coffee lover to give this a go if you are looking for a fully automatic bean to cup machine that’s quick and easy

I initially wanted the Philips 5400 Series for its coffee travel-mug setting but it appears to be a discontinued model. The 4300 is the model below and cheaper but is no worse for that. I had been a long term user of a coffee pod system (the one that spins the pods) but since they stopped producing their largest pod - for that coffee travel-mug - I got to appraising my investment in their ecosystem and the wider environmental implications of recycling all that aluminium. My research of bean-to-cup (super automatic) machines brought me to the Philips Latego machines. Reviews and coffee video channels liked them and the orientation of their water tank and height matched what I needed. It wasn't the cheapest but the 4300 had the nice screen rather than a series of buttons on the lower models. Packaging was good and setup was relatively straightforward. The first cup of coffee wasn't coffee. Here's the rub. This machine takes a while to bed-in and only after 10 - 20 cups did I get what I would would describe as a coffee comparable to my spinny-pod machine. And this is not pod-machine simple. You have to experiment with all the various settings to get what you like. But this is why this machine it so good. You're not getting what a pod maker thinks is the coffee you'll like with not adjustment - you get the coffee you actually want. But it does take time and you have to stick with it. After 130 cups and using beans from a high street coffee chain I'm there and glad I made the change. As for the lack of coffee travel-mug setting, I just select the X2 setting and 400ml of tasty freshly ground coffee goes into my travel-mug. Weekly cleaning is straightforward. Although the water tank is the same size as my old pod machine, it does need refilling more often because the machine rinses when first switched on and again when it switches off. The Aquaclean filter also takes up room in the tank. But I do like the fact the filter reduces the need for descaling and there is a countdown to tell you when the filter needs changing. Only after using 8 filters do you need to descale. Overall it's giving me the coffee I love, quickly, cheaply and with style. A good investment which will pay for itself over the next year or two given the amount I was spending on all of those aluminium pods.

I try many different product in this machine. It makes grade job for example espresso etc. I only say that about negative trait, if the chamber of coffee beans is empty , i couldn't any error massage about it.

Great bean to cup coffee machine! I have had it for about 4 months now, and I have to say, it’s pretty impressive! Easy to use, every cup of coffee is delicious, just like in the local coffee shop. And the variety of programs is more than enough, including the milk frother, so you can make a delicious cup of hot chocolate as well. You can program your settings according to your liking - amount of milk, water and coffee grind- all changeable. So, if you prefer stronger or weaker coffee, more or less milk or water, it’s all programmable. And you can save your settings in the 3 different profiles, Blue, Green and Guests, so you don’t need to go through all the settings each time. Just press a button, and the machine will start to make a cup of coffee exactly to your liking. Such a great function which I highly recommend. Maintenance is very easy. The milk container and system is so easy to clean, just press a button and wait for it to self clean, then rinse the milk container or put it in the dishwasher. No messing with cleaning the pipes anymore. If you have milk leftover in the container, just put it in the fridge for the next time. It also tells you when the waste coffee container is full and needs emptying. The brewing group is very easy to clean, just rinse it under the tap and leave overnight to dry. Slide it back into the machine in the morning and it is ready to make a delicious cup of coffee again. Overall, greatly satisfied with this machine.

This is my first fully automatic bean to cup machine. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on the Philips 4300 series, and I am not disappointed at all. The machine is fantastic and has exceeded my expectations, producing consistently high-quality drinks on par with any dedicated coffee shop. Set up and daily use is so simple and the 4300 looks very special and high-end in my kitchen. The milk frother is what really sold me on this, as it is fully automatic and the results are spot on. Auto-cleaning of the milk container, even with milk still in it is great, and the fact it removes means after cleaning it can go in the door of the fridge ready for next time. I genuinely highly recommend this item, all the coffee settings give outstanding results with minimal fuss. This item was paid for by myself. and not part of any promotion.
