Philips Sonicare Series 6100Rechargeable toothbrush

Recent purchase to replace my previous Phillips sonic which I had for over 2 years. Love it, teeth feel amazing fly clean and the charge lasts ages, which is great as I have to use several times a day due to going through teeth alignment process.

I chose 5 stars because the series 6100 is excellent.

Excellent toothbrush with great results and well constructed. Feels good to handle and a good size brush head for all the awkward areas you need to get to.

I love using it and find it much better at cleaning my teeth than the rotary toothbrush that it replaced. I also like the how it holds it's charge, but would like a quicker recharge time. The brush head is very good quality, although somewhat expensive to replace.

I loved the softness of the bristles on those electric toothbrush. The pulsating vibrations makes your teeth feel really clean. I am very happy to move away from a manual brush and use this item. Would definitely recommend!

This toothbrush is truly amazing! The difference in the cleanliness of my teeth compared to my old toothbrush is huge. Now I really feel like my teeth are properly cleaned. Highly recommended!

The tooth brush was quick to charge and was pleasantly surprised by how clean my teeth felt after using the toothbrush. There is a slight vibration but nothing that would put me off recommending this product. There are three setting modes that allow you to decide the level you are comfortable with to ensure you are comfortable with the required result you are after.

I was invited to try this new Sonicare toothbrush for Philips, and I'm extremely pleased with it. I have tried other electric toothbrushes (both sonic and oscillating) in the past, but this is by far the best one I've tried, and the one that I'll be sticking with instead of going back to manual. The brush has a good feel in the hand (see attached photo for scale) and the head seems to be longer than others which helps you easily access all of your back teeth for an in-depth clean. As I like to have very clean feeling teeth, I went straight for the full-speed on clean mode, but I'm sure that others will appreciate the options of having slower speeds and the dedicated sensitive clean mode. The battery life is also excellent, which seems to last at least 3 weeks on a single charge. I also love the fact that it alerts you if you're brushing too hard in order to protect your teeth, and that it can remind you to change the brush head if you've forgotten and left it too long. I also appreciate that this brush DOESN'T have over-the-top and unnecessary features. I've seen many electric toothbrushes with 6+ cleaning modes, and in all honesty I can't see them being THAT different or necessary. This brush does well with just clean and sensitive modes. I've also seen brushes that have things like Bluetooth apps and WiFi internet connections - personally I'm a huge tech enthusiast, but I really don't see why they're necessary on so many things now, I was super happy when I found that this brush didn't have those things, which also makes the battery life last longer! I must admit that the brushing pacer on this brush did take some getting used to. When I'm brushing with my manual toothbrush, I always consider my teeth to be split into 4 sections and I brush one at a time for 30 seconds - the other electric brushes I've tried in the past seem to agree with this. Instead, this brush splits the mouth into 6 sections at 20 seconds each. While not a major issue, it did take some getting used to so that I make sure all teeth are cleaned within the 2 minutes. My only problem that I've faced with this brush is that it comes with the S2 Sensitive clean head, which uses ultra-soft bristles and a smaller brush head area. Personally, I prefer slightly firmer bristles and I have relatively large teeth which makes the small head a bit of a pain to use. I've recently ordered the C3 Premium Plaque Control and A3 Premium heads to try those after my S2 runs out, both of which seem to have larger brushing areas. I was a little bit put off the A3 heads as they're so expensive, and I'd imagine a lot of people will simply not try them because of the price. I think it would have been a good marketing idea for Philips to include an A3 Premium head with the toothbrush, and then users could see how good they are before deciding whether to spend extra money on them. All in all, I think this is a fantastic new brush and a definite upgrade over manual brushing, and I'm looking forward to using it in the long term!

Absolutely love this Toothbrush!! I have always used a manual brush but had those annoying in-between stains that wouldn't go no matter how hard I brushed. Well I have used this Toothbrush now for x4 weeks and I will never go back it is soft on my teeth and gums yet all my stains have gone so it gets right in-between all your teeth, my mouth and teeth have never felt cleaner!
