    How to turn off Audio Description?

    Situation

    Next to the regular audiotrack, a voice describes the events that are taking place on the screen. This function is called ‘Audio Description’ and is meant for visually impaired persons.

    Checklist

    Ensure that:

    • The channels are installed directly onto the television and the ‘audio description’ is not coming from an external device, like a set-top box.

    Answer

    To turn off the Audio Description option press the “Home” button on the remote control of the television and select:

    [Settings/Quick settings] > [Universal Access] > [Universal Access] > [OFF]

    Or

    [Settings] > [Accessibility] > [Audio description] > [OFF]
